Website Report On Visit To Religious Places

God is our protector that’s what we imbibe in our children at school and in our homes. To take blessings of Almighty God and to have an exposure of all the major religions of the country and to learn about the basic tenets of these religions, the students of Elementary Years Programme visited a Church, Gurdwara and Temple on Wednesday, 19th December 2018.

The children offered their prayers in the temple. They covered their heads and washed their hands before they sat down to listen to the ‘Shabad’, at the Gurdwara. They also experienced the preparations going on for Christmas and enjoyed singing carols, at the Church.

The students returned with first-hand experience of different religious places and religions followed by the people of India.  The concept of faith, prayers and belief was introduced to the little ones who basked in the glory of divinity and peace.

Post their visit to the religious places, the students of Nursery and Kindergarten visited the Leisure Valley Park for a picnic. They thoroughly enjoyed playing games and spending time with their friends at the park. It was a day full of fun and learning for the little ones.
